Sleep is the most important thing you can do for your health and well-being, and is important in terms of memory function, regulation emotions, and immune system response in all humans. Lost sleep also accumulates over time; the more “sleep debt” an individual incurs, the greater the negative consequences is the most important piece of health because it underpins every aspect of our well-being. It directly influences mental clarity, emotional stability, and physical health. Quality sleep aids in recovery, boosts the immune system, and regulates hormones, all of which are essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Without proper sleep, even the best diet and exercise routines can falter, highlighting its foundational role in achieving overall wellness. As a graduate of the Duke University Integrative Health and Well-Being coaching program, Kripalu-certified Yoga Nidra Guide, and Sound Therapist, sleep and deep rest are the main focuses of my coaching work. I have been lecturing in sleep hygiene and coaching private clients for over a decade and have helped hundreds of clients make changed in their sleep hygiene programs and improve thier sleep! The focus of our sleep coaching sessions is to empower you to make lasting changes for better sleep and overall wellness. We will begin by assessing your current sleep habits and issues, and from here you will be educated on the science behind sleep and learn solutions for better rest, including lifestyle changes and practical mind body techniques that guarantee better sleep hygiene. New habits take time and encouragement, and using the Duke Health coaching framework, I will help you monitor your progress, and make adjustments and offering follow-up support and specialists if necessary. |
