
As a racquet sport lover, I am so excited to launch a NEW mind body program for tennis players at the Cohasset Tennis Club! Join me as you discover the X Factor behind your tennis game! We will begin with a weekly yoga program this fall, and expand then into workshops, including acupuncture, as we move into the new year! What a great match!
Yin Yoga and Mindfulness for Racquet Sports:
January 14th-April 7th (Mondays)
January 15th -April 9th (Tuesdays )
*Please note there will be no classes on MLK Day, February 4 & 5 and Presidents Day.
Not only can yoga help strengthen a player's injury-prone joints, it can also silence "inner chatter". Unlike many sports that require simple brute strength or speed, tennis is a mental game as well. That's why the combination of yoga and racquet sports is perfect combination for cross-training and makes for a win-win situation.
In this multiple week series of Yin yoga,, breathwork and mindfulness to discover the secrets of the mind/body connection. You'll increase your flexibility and strength in your body and mind and you'll see a guaranteed marked difference in how you perform physically and mentally on and off the court.
Many of these sessions are timed perfectly right before your practices and matches so that you can experience the benefits the mind/body connection immediately on the court. Just bring yourself and all mats, props will be provided at the club.
