Use breath, movement, acupressure, meditation, and sound to open the body and mind and take a deeper look within. Yin yoga is used to balance the active lifestyle commonplace in today’s fast-paced society. Through a slower, more meditative approach, simple postures are held to work deeper levels of the body - connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, fascia) and energy paths. With the body and mind open, this workshop will conclude with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation and sound bath using Tibetan and Crystal sound bowls, drum, chimes, and flute to dissolve tension and move energy.
You will leave with a new level of openness and a peaceful, meditative state of being.
